Q: How do I know what type of setting to choose?

A: Talking to your partner’s best friend or sister is a good idea of where to start as they often have discussed this type of information.

Another way is to go window shopping and point out a design one of your co-workers has chosen for her engagement ring and see her reaction and listen for her preferences.

Another way is to present her with a loose diamond and let her get involved with choosing a setting. The Diamond Shop recommends this option.

Q: How do I know her ring size?

A: Ask us to post you a ring sizer; it comes with directions how to use. Or use our easy online ring-sizer tool.

Q: How long does it take to make a ring?

A: This varies depending on the style chosen and the amount of detail. We will always advise you on how long it will take, if you would like your ring by a certain date please discuss this with us and we will do our utmost to meet your deadline.

Q: How does my unset diamond arrive?

A: Your unset diamond is sent in a diamond holder. This holder can be placed on your lady’s finger when you propose. Please note this stone holder is merely to display the unset stone and is not intended to be worn. No liability will be accepted for the diamond if the diamond holder has been worn as a ring.

Q: How does my ring arrive?

A: Your ring will be sent in a beautiful ring box bearing The Diamond Shop logo.  The diamond will be placed in the diamond holder so she can try it on.  The diamond holder is not a ring and not intended to be worn (see above).

Q: How is my unset diamond or ring shipped?

A: Your ring is sent free of charge by Courier Post (Signature Required). Learn more.
