Early this year (2008), I got engaged and being a good old Kiwi bloke I had no idea what kind of ring I wanted let alone how much I wanted to spend.
This is where the Diamond Shop came into play.
Dan and his staff at the Diamond Shop gave me the best possible advice and a great lesson on Diamond appreciation and quality, for all of you who are looking to buy from the big jewellery chains think twice, you get better service, quality and value for your dollar.
Dan, worked very closely with me for some time, to the point where I just thought it would be best to get my partner to pick out her own ring, and for those who believe that this is unromantic, think again my partner not only designed the ring but it’s what she wanted.
I don't think I could have lived with the fact of seeing the look of disappointment if I proposed with a ring she didn't like, so it was a win win situation.
The Diamond Shop, were so flexible with the whole arrangement from designing the ring and payment arrangements, they made me feel like more than just a customer.
