The classic diamond solitaire is the most popular choice; it’s simple elegance is designed to enhance your specially selected diamond. There are many variations of solitaire settings from 4 or 6 claws as in Tiffany style.  Another solitaire option is a rubover or bezel setting which is a very secure setting.
 

You might like to consider augmenting your solitaire  with the addition of several smaller diamonds set in the ring’s shank either side of your central diamond   These can be either channel set or bead set.
 

Another lovely style is a centre  diamond surrounded with a circle of diamonds in a cluster design either with a straight shank  or a split shank with small diamonds set in the shank leading to the center cluster.
 

The three diamond ring is another beautiful choice which  is also known as the Trilogy or Trinity style. This classic ring is set with three  matching diamonds  horizontally set in a row with a larger centre diamond together with two smaller diamonds. The three diamonds are said to represent the couple's past, present, and future.  

Another design choice with a scintillating effect is a five diamond ring which usually has five matching diamonds set in a straight row either in claw set or rub set or channel set. The number of diamonds can represent the number of years you have been married  or some other significant event or date.

 

Art deco rings are another style for ladies looking for a ring where the emphasis is on design rather than the size of the diamond. Large diamonds look sensational when set in this style but smaller diamonds can also look  amazing because the focus is on the design & detail rather than the central stone.
