Length-to-Width Ratio

Length-to-Width Ratio: A comparison of the length to the width of fancy shaped diamonds. The ratio is found by dividing the length of the diamond by the width. Eg. A one carat marquise cut diamond that measures 10.07mm in length and 5.30mm in width has a length-to-width ratio of 1.9 or 1.9:1.0.
